Factory Techstream diagnostics. OEM torque specs. Zero guesswork. We speak Lexus — every model, every system, every fault code.

Before / After

Before: Worn needle bearing, 80k-mile ATF contamination

After: OEM bearing, Toyota WS ATF, torqued to spec
Technical Note
Full disassembly, bearing replacement, viscous coupling inspection, ATF flush with Toyota WS fluid. All rebuilt to factory torque spec — diff carrier bolts at 91 ft-lbs, prop shaft flange at 54 ft-lbs. Zero shims guessed.
Models Served
Before / After

Before: P0302, P0316, P0300 — three codes, one root cause

After: All clear, misfire resolved — cracked coil boot replaced
Technical Note
We pull live data streams — not just DTCs. Freeze frame, active tests, bidirectional controls. On an IS 350 misfiring P0302, we traced it to a cracked coil boot causing intermittent arc-to-ground, not the coil itself. 23-minute diagnosis. First visit, done.
Models Served
Before / After

Before: Previous shop used impact gun on timing cover — 3 stripped threads

After: Helicoil repair, torqued to 9.5 ft-lbs per spec
Technical Note
Every critical fastener — timing cover, head bolts, suspension knuckles, transmission bellhousing — torqued with calibrated click-type or digital angle-torque wrench. LC 500 crank pulley bolt: 221 ft-lbs + 90° angle. LS 500 air suspension strut mount: 59 ft-lbs. Not estimated. Not impact-gunned.

Owners Who Know the Difference.
"Took my IS 350 to three shops. All three Googled the P0302 code in front of me. Torque pulled live data, traced it to a cracked coil boot arcing to the valve cover. Fixed in one visit. These guys are the real thing."
"My RX 450h warranty expired in March. Dealership quoted $4,200 for HV battery 'capacity refresh.' Torque tested every cell, identified one failing module, replaced it for $680. They explained every step. Never going back to the dealer."
"I collect Lexus. Have an LC 500 and an older LS 430. Nobody touches either without factory Techstream. Torque has both cars on file, knows the service history, and treats the V8 like the piece of engineering it is. That's rare."
